Q: When we reach the final chapter of The Adventures of Glass, will it be published?
A: That's up to you.
As in all things Dinosaur Fondue, your votes matter. If I get 1,000 yes votes in the following poll, then, when the adventure is complete, I will rewrite The Adventures of Glass for publication and seek a publisher. The more votes I get, the higher up my "to write" list it will go. Make sense? Place your votes.
Why so many votes?
Writing and editing a novel isn't a weekend activity. It is a time-consuming, life-eating process. I must be passionate about a project, or know that there are many others who are passionate about it, to put that much effort into a work. I have loved expeiencing Glass's insane adventures with you, but I need to know if I have your support before I take time away from my other stories to dive back into this world after I've finished it once.
Why rewrite?
Because essentially what you have read on this blog is a first draft. Each chapter was written quickly and, true to its premise, without an overarching storyarc in mind. This means plot holes. This means spelling errors. This means lack of details I would otherwise include in something on which I've taken more time. The rewrite would still include all the story elements that you have chosen over the course of the blog. Just with a pinch more pizazz.
